What causes concrete to sink?

There are many reasons why concrete sinks.  The most common reasons we see are
- Water eroding at the concrete base.
- Ground heaving due to the heating and cooling cycles in our climate.
- Improper compaction of the base before pouring concrete.

Why mudjack when you can replace concrete?

Mudjacking your sunken and uneven concrete is a fast and affordable way to eliminate tripping hazards, restoring the concrete slabs to their original grade.  We can repair your sunken concrete for 1/3 of the cost of replacing it.

How long does it take and when can I use my concrete again?

Most residential jobs can be completed within 1-2 days.  We suggest you stay off your concrete with heavy items for approximately 48 hours.  This will give time for the mud to set.

Does mudjacking eliminate cracks?

No.  We do not fix cracks but by lifting and levelling the concrete slab to its original height most cracks tighten.
