Mudjacking, also known as concrete lifting, is a successful cost effective method to repair and restore sunken concrete slabs to their original grade.  Mudjacking has been used to lift sidewalks, patios, driveways, garage floors, decks, curbs and gutters.

There are four steps used to restore concrete to its original height.

STEP 1

A pattern of 1.75 inch holes are cored throughout the sunken slab.

STEP 2

A slurry of clay sand and cement is pumped under the slab.  One any void is filled, the void becomes pressurized and hydraulically raises the slab slowly to desired height.

STEP 3

The holes are patched with cement.

STEP 4

The area is pressure washed and cleaned up as the crew packs up.
